For the record, the legendary emperor Shennong in China had examined the health effect of green tea about 4700 years ago. Documents have also been recovered dating back to as early as Ancient Egypt that discuss the enjoyment and uses of herbal tea for various health conditions. An herbal tea usually not made from the leaves of the tea bush (Camellia sinensis). Herbal infusions are prepared by combining hot water and fruits, leaves, roots or grains. This workshop gives a brief introduction of various herbal teas, infusion method and their efficacy.
